Powdered activated carbon also provides a special surface for microbial growth. Its porous surface adsorbs a large number of microbial flora. Under high dissolved oxygen conditions, microorganisms oxidatively decompose small organic molecules enriched on the surface of activated carbon, and pass BAF combined filter. The activated carbon is precipitated and returned to the front end MBFB pool, and then the stainless steel filter membrane separation system is used to separate the suspended particles of water and the fine powder activated carbon adsorbing organic matter, and the sewage is further purified by cross-flow filtration to achieve the standard of reuse of the water. The process can effectively remove ammonia nitrogen, COD and other toxic organic substances that are difficult to degrade small molecules in micro-polluted water.

Reaction mechanism
